We have a feeling that in many cases this is precisely the situation, but in the case of Randy Houska and his teen mom daughter, Chelsea DeBoer, this is simply not the case. He was there for his daughter, he raised her in a way that allowed them to be close, and he was a good dad. His daughter, Chelsea, says her father had the best advice for her when she was growing up. She said he was always there for her, and that everything he had to say to her was so helpful and so useful. He has a great personality, too. Even when she shared the news that she was a pregnant teenager with her father — a situation no dad ever wants to find his little girl in — he was there for her.

Randy and David have clashed in the past.
The mom, who is expecting her fourth child, announced today she was quitting the MTV show. Randy tweeted: "Well kids, that's a wrap. Sources close to the year-old mom said she told producers earlier this month she wanted to leave the series. Sources close to The Ashley's said: "The girls were filming from their homes, along with Dr. Drew [Pinsky] and Nessa, and at the end when all of the girls were on-screen together with [the hosts], they let Chelsea make her announcement to them. The source added: "The girls were all supportive of her decision, but no one else announced that they were leaving. However, no word yet who, if anyone at all, will replace Chelsea in the upcoming second half of season
